El colectivo de Esquerra Unida de Gandia presentó el sábado por la
noche al que será su candidato a la alcaldía en las próximas elecciones
municipales. En un acto en el que se combinó la música de Marian Salido
y la Rondalla Agredolç, el cantautor chileno Lucho Roa, el humor del
actor y director Mariano Velázquez y el arteurbano de la mano del
“graffitero” Flug, autor del conocido mural LGTBI de nuestra ciudad.
Junto con los parlamentos de la eurodiputada Marina Albiol, la
coordinadora de EUPV, Rosa Pérez, los miembros de la asamblea local
Irene Perales y Luis Escobar y la intervención final del candidato Nahue
González.
En un ambiente festivo, con una sala llena, el acto empezó con las notas
de humor de Mariano Velázquez que dió paso al cantautor Lucho Roa.
Interpretó “Yo Pisaré las Calles Nuevamente” de Pablo Milanés y
“Palabras para Julia” de Paco Ibáñez. Una vez finalizado Irene Perales
remarcó que el objetivo de la formación es abrirse a gente que
quiera aportar y que a partir de ahora las asambleas de la formación
serán abiertas a toda la ciudadanía. Luis Escobar por su parte, recordó
que actualmente forman parte de la coalición Més Gandia, que ha
permitido llegar al gobierno y hacer políticas para la ciudadanía.

El acto llegó a su ecuador cuando empezó Marian Salido y la Rondalla
Agredolç a interpretar una versión adaptada a Gandia de la “Malagueña
de Barxeta” en la que se alzaba el patrimonio cultural y medioambiental
de la ciudad ducal. Mientras tanto, dos bailarines de danzas valencianas
subieron al escenario, y el muralista local “Flug” proseguía con su obra
en directo. Para acabar, la rondalla interpretó una albada dedicada
a Nahuel en la que acababa proclamándolo Alcalde de Gandia.
Ya para finalizar el acto intervinieron la eurodiputada Marina Albiol que
destacó el valor del municipalismo en el mundo polarizado y reaccionario
de hoy en día. Reivindicó el papel de la asamblea de EUPV Gandia de
llevar a Europa los conflictos que están viviendo como la falta de
infrastructuras, la crisis de los refugiados o la necesidad de
reactivar la economía local. También la cercanía y dedicación de Nahuel
en su labor por transformar esta sociedad. Rosa Pérez por su parte,
recordó que actualmente EUPV tiene su fuerza en el municipalismo donde
en 2015 se goblaron los concejales valencianos. También la
responsabilidad de llevar áreas de gobierno como Responsabilidad Social
en la que González está dignificando con mas ayudas que nunca o la
oficina de mediación hipotecaria que permite a los vecinos de Gandia
poder parar los desahucios.
El acto acabó con la intervención del candidato por Gandia que aclamó
“la unidad de todas las personas que quieran una ciudad justa y
democrática independientemente del carnet político que tengan o la
ideología”. También la necesidad de “tener un pie en las instituciones y
otro en la calle para no olvidar de dónde venimos”.
El actual concejal reivindicó el papel de Més Gandia como modelo triunfador que permitió a
la izquierda de esta ciudad sacar el mejor resultado de su historia, pero
también que si otros no quieren repetir fórmula, de forma legítima, EUPV
tiene la capacidad de presentarse en solitario y dar la batalla por el
gobierno. El acto finalizó con la reivindicación del edil de las políticas
sociales y partivipativas que se están llevando a cabo y la necesidad de
estar “todos unidos en este camino”.
