La regidora de Salut i Polítiques Saludables, Liduvina Gil ha presentat aquest matí les activitats programades per l’Ajuntament amb motiu de la celebració del Dia Mundial de la Sida, el dissabte 1 de desembre. Unes activitats que giraran al voltant de tres eixos fonamentals: la informació, la formació-prevenció i la conscienciació.
“Gandia s’adhereix un any més al Dia Mundial de la Lluita contra la Sida, Tots els primers de desembre, des de 1988, ens manifestem a escala mundial i unim les nostres forces perquè la problemàtica del VIH es faça visible. I és que es tracta d’un problema que ens afecta a totes i a tots per igual, amb independència de l’orientació social, ètnia o estil de vida. Hem de vèncer els estigmes i els estereotips”.
Així, demà divendres a les 13 hores es penjarà un llaç roig a la façana de l’Ajuntament de Gandia per tal de donar visibilitat, conscienciar i lluitar contra l’estigma del VIH.
En col·laboració amb el Consell dels Joves de Gandia es muntarà un estand informatiu al Campus de Gandia de la Universitat Politècnica de València.
Als centres educatius, edificis i espais públics de la ciutat s’hi repartiran díptics divulgatius i preventius.
“A més, en companyia d’especialistes de l’Hospital Francesc de Borja volem augmentar la informació, en matèria de salut sexual i reproductiva, a adolescents i joves, incidint en tots els factors que influixen en les conductes de risc. La informació i la formació són dues eines que poden ajudar-nos a evitar situacions no desitjades”. Per aquesta raó, del 3 al 20 de desembre hi haurà xarrades informatives sobre salut sexual dirigides a estudiants de primer de Batxillerat i Cicles formatius dels centres educatius de Gandia. Impartides per metges especialistes en Medicina Interna. S’hi tractarà les infeccions de transmissió sexual, VIH/Sida, transmissió i tècniques de diagnòstic o els mètodes anticonceptius.
