• La Diputació de València, a través del Pla SOM, ha concedit 250.000 euros per a la millora i remodelació d’instal•lacions esportives de la nostra ciutat.

• Entre altres intervencions: l’adaptació de vestuaris i substitució de la caldera de la piscina convertible; la millora dels accessos a les pistes d’atletisme, i un nou sistema d’il•luminació en el camp de beisbol de la platja.
Gandia 14 de febrer de 2019.- La regidora delegada d’Esports, Lydia Morant ha comparegut hui en roda de premsa per a informar de l’inici del període de licitació per a la millora d’instal•lacions esportives de Gandia, gràcies a les ajudes rebudes de la Diputació de València a través del Pla de Serveis i Obres Municipals (Pla SOM).
La inversió ascendeix a 250.000 euros i es destinarà a la millora i remodelació d’algunes de les infraestructures esportives de la ciutat.
Ja està en marxa el canvi de la caldera de la piscina convertible. Altres projectes que s’estan licitant actualment i que es duran a terme en els pròxims mesos són la remodelació dels vestuaris de la piscina convertible. En concret s’actuarà en els dos vestuaris de l’entrada, perquè siguen accessibles a persones amb diversitat funcional. Una altra de les actuacions que contempla el Pla SOM és la millora dels accessos al Poliesportiu Municipal, a les pistes que hi ha darrere del camp de futbol al costat del riu Serpis i a la pista d’atletisme per la zona confrontant al col•legi Gregori Mayans.
Finalment, es procedirà a instal•lar il•luminació en el camp de beisbol de la platja de Gandia, per a afavorir la pràctica esportiva en els mesos d’hivern en els quals fosqueja abans. ”Posarem una il•luminació més potent perquè el club puga desenvolupar els seus entrenaments durant els mesos d’hivern entre setmana”, ha informat la regidora.
Morant ha demostrat el seu agraïment a la Diputació de València, ja que “la nostra situació econòmica no ens ha permés en aquesta legislatura fer inversions molt ambicioses i gràcies a aquestes ajudes sí que tindrem unes millors infraestructures a nivell esportiu”.
