Este mediodía de viernes se ha celebrado en Mestalla la tradicional rueda de prensa conjunta previa al derbi valenciano de la Liga Iberdrola. Carol Miranda y Kino García, técnicos de VCF Femenino y LUD Femenino respectivamente, han comparecido junto con sendas capitanas, Gio Carreras y Sonia Prim, así como con las valencianistas Mari Paz Vilas, Carol Férez y Sandra Hernández y las levantinistas Ruth García, Ivana Andrés y Estefanía Banini.
Carol Miranda: “Creo que va a ser un espectáculo bonito para el fútbol femenino, queremos que los aficionados formen parte de este partido, que va a ser historia de nuestro fútbol, y estaremos encantados de que vengan”.
El Valencia CF Femenino quiere vivir una jornada mágica y especial. Por segunda vez en su historia, las blanquinegras van a disputar un partido oficial sobre el césped de Mestalla, tras el jugado en abril de 2017. El derbi Elles Som Tots frente al Levante UD Femenino va a celebrarse este próximo lunes, 22 de abril de 2019, a las 17 horas.
De poco valen las dinámicas cuando se habla del derbi valenciano. La carga emocional y el sentimiento que envuelven a este tipo de compromisos van más allá del marco deportivo. El 22 de abril Mestalla ha de ser una fiesta del fútbol femenino, donde el papel de los aficionados sea fundamental para que nuestras futbolistas salten al campo con un plus de motivación.
Actualmente, el Levante UD ocupa la tercera posición en la tabla de posiciones con 54 puntos. El Valencia CF, por su parte, es octavo con 35. En el partido de la ida, el choque finalizó 0-0.
Los antecedentes entre ambos conjuntos en las dos pasadas campañas son bastante igualados. La balanza se equilibra cuando hablamos de este tipo de encuentros. En la Liga Iberdrola 17.18, las granotas se impusieron en la Ciutat Esportiva VCF por 2-3, mientras que las che hicieron lo propio en el Ciutat de València, donde vencieron 0-1 con gol de Lombi. Si retrocedemos una temporada más en el tiempo, la 16.17, la balanza sigue sin decantarse a favor de ningún equipo. El Levante UD consiguió ganar como local 2-1, en el Ciutat, y el Valencia CF logró vencer 6-0 en Mestalla.

Leising said she had voted for Trump three times. But she was unhappy with the president’s efforts to pressure Indiana into scrapping and replacing its congressional maps as part of a nationwide arms race ahead of next year’s midterm elections.
“I wish that President Trump would change his tone. He needs to be more positive about what he needs to address for ’27 and ’28. Why does he need to have a Republican majority in ’27 and ’28? What is he going to do next?” Leising said.

She also said redistricting advocates’ efforts ultimately backfired, hardening opposition in the Senate.
“You wouldn’t change minds by being mean. And the efforts were mean-spirited from the get-go,” she said. “If you were wanting to change votes, you would probably try to explain why we should be doing this, in a positive way. That never happened, so, you know, I think they get what they get.”

Sen. Greg Goode, whose town hall in Terre Haute this fall revealed massive public opposition to mid-decade redistricting, said the new maps would splinter communities with similar interests. He also criticized “over-the-top pressure from inside the Statehouse and outside,” as well as “threats of violence, acts of violence.”
