VALÈNCIA. El president de la Generalitat, Ximo Puig, ha anunciado esta mañana durante el Debate de Política General cuatro nuevas medidas sanitarias que la Generalitat Valenciana pondrá en marcha las próximas semanas para «proteger y mejorar la salud pública» entre las que destaca la creación de un nuevo servicio valenciano de salud.
Un nuevo Servicio Valenciano de Salud cuyas funciones se centrarán en «dirigir la prestación de asistencia sanitaria, distribuir los recursos económicos, garantizando su uso eficiente y unos resultados eficaces, coordinar y gestionar los recursos humanos y desarrollar la docencia e investigación», ha enumerado el jefe del Consell en su intervención.
En este sentido, el president ha anunciado que esta misma semana, además, será nombrada una nueva Comisionada para la Transformación de la Atención Primaria cuyo cometido será promover los cambios «que requiere la red de salud».
Por otra parte, Puig ha especificado que se van a prorrogar seis meses más los contratos temporales realizados durante la pandemia para reforzar las plantillas sanitarias. Asimismo, los centros de salud estarán abiertos por la tarde para ampliar la atención presencial con el objetivo de descongestionar la red de atención primaria.
Este «ambicioso» Plan de construcción, ampliación y reforma de centros sanitarios de atención primaria y hospitales para garantizar las nuevas necesidades asistenciales estará dotado con 874 millones de euros.
Para reformar y modernizar los edificios de Primaria, se invertirán 228 millones de euros, y para los hospitales 646 millones, todo ello dentro de la Estrategia Valenciana de Recuperación 2021-2027.
Paga extra a los sanitarios
El presidente del Consell ha anunciado, además, que todos los profesionales sanitarios que, voluntariamente, quieran doblar turno y hacer horas extra por la tarde en los centros de salud recibirán una remuneración extra que la Conselleria de Sanidad pondrá en marcha en breve.
En esta misma línea, también se pondrá en marcha una paga extra a todos aquellos trabajadores sanitarios y sociosanitarios de residencias «que están luchando contra la pandemia». Todo ello, antes de que finalice el año.
La gratificación es para los dos colectivos: para los trabajadores de la sanidad pública y para para los trabajadores sociosanitarios de residencias públicas.
