Gandia, 13 de maig 2021.- La regidora delegada de Polítiques Saludables, Liduvina Gil, acompanyada de la coordinadora del Centre Social Roís de Corella, Ana Ferrer, ha presentat la 7a edició de la Fira del Major, que tindrà lloc els dies 18 i 19 de maig a la Casa de la Marquesa. «Gandia és una ciutat amigable amb la gent gran. Defensem una política integral per als nostres majors amb l’esperança que puguen arribar a una edat longeva i, a més, amb bona qualitat de vida», ha comentat Gil.
Durant aquestes jornades, els presents podran gaudir de dansa, música, teatre, exposicions, un showcooking de fideuà, a banda de poder consultar o comprar productes de parafarmàcia i solucions auditives, entre d’altres. Les activitats es desenvoluparan en horari de 10:30 a 18:45h (dimecres) i de 10:00 a 19:15h (dijous). «Amb aquesta fira volem retornar-los a allò què han donat a la nostra societat», ha remarcat l’edil.
La regidora també ha volgut destacar que aquesta celebració es tracta d’un «reconeixement al seu treball i tot el què han fet per nosaltres, però també s’ha organitzat per a què disfruten ells i les seues famílies». Tot el món hi podrà entrar gratuïtament sense límit d’aforament.
‘Viure Estiu 2022’
D’altra banda, també s’ha presentat el programa ‘Viure Estiu 2022’ per als mesos de juny i juliol. Classes de ioga, pilates o passejos saludables son algunes de les activitats previstes per a que els més majors puguen seguir gaudint d’una vida saludable.
El període de matriculació tindrà lloc durant els dies 23 i 27 de maig als centres de convivència de la ciutat (inclòs el del Grau) i caldrà portar la targeta daurada de jubilat.
