Gandia, 9 de setembre de 2021.- En els últims dies ha començat la instal·lació dels pictogrames dels passos de vianants pròxims als centres educatius de la ciutat de Gandia, amb el que segons ha explicat la Regidora delegada de l’Àrea de Sanitat, Liduvina Gil «Es pretén avançar cap a una ciutat més accessible i inclusiva, fent que Gandia siga una ciutat cada dia més amigable amb les seues ciutadanes i ciutadans i contribuir a millorar la vida de les persones amb autisme i les seues famílies».
La regidora, a petició dels membres del Consell de la Infància de Gandia proposà al Ple de la Ciutat de Gandia, l’aprovació del Projecte ‘Entenc la Meua Ciutat’, que té per objectiu aconseguir una ciutat més inclusiva, accessible i amigable, tenint en compte que la inclusió i participació activa en la societat és un dret fonamental per a qualsevol ciutadà.
L’objectiu és la incorporació de pictogrames a l’ample de la ciutat en diferents fases:
1.- Identificació amb pictogrames d’espais municipals (ajuntament, teatre, biblioteques, parcs…)
2.- Incorporació de pictogrames en els passos de vianants (aturat, mira, cotxe parat i creua)
3.- Identificació de pictogrames a espais no municipals mitjançant l’adhesió voluntària (centres educatius, hospital, consultoris mèdics, transport públic…).
Aquesta segona fase, la incorporació de pictogrames en els passos de vianants, consisteix a senyalitzar els passos de vianants amb una seqüència de quatre pictogrames amb quatre figures que indiquen els passos que cal seguir abans de passar a l’altre costat del carrer: parar, mirar, cotxe parat i creuar, dirigit a les xiquetes i xiquets amb TEA.
