Amb un concert de la Babalú Swing Band, dedicat a la música americana dels anys 40
Divendres, al jardí de la Casa de Cultura està previst l’inici de la 28a edició del Festival Polisònic, que organitza el Departament de Cultura de l’Ajuntament de Gandia.
Aquesta primera actuació del Polisònic estarà a càrrec de la Babalú Swing Band, que ha preparat un programa especial dedicat als grans temes de la música americana dels anys 40 i on es podran escoltar les cançons més emblemàtiques d’artistes com Cole Porter, Duke Ellington o Frank Sinatra
Babalú Swing Band es va formar amb la vocació d’apropar el swing al gran públic, un estil musical nascut a finals dels anys 20 als Estats Units i popularitzat a través de la figura de cantant masculí.
Amb 10 músics a l’escenari, la Babalú Swing Band comptarà amb la col•laboració especial de les Beluin Sisters, un trio vocal al més pur estil pin-up dels anys 40.
Des de l’organització del Polisònic s’ha volgut destacar la bona acollida que ha tingut aquest primer concert quant a la venda anticipada d’entrades, la qual cosa preveu que es puguen esgotar abans de l’inici del concert .
