LA ASOCIACIÓN MUSICAL SANTA CECILIA, EMBAJADORA DE OLIVA EN FRANCIA

• Casi 50 personas, entre miembros de la Coral y acompañantes, viajan hoy a Pau (Francia) para actuar en la Iglesia de Thèze
• La Coral y la delegación de Turismo han aprovechado la oportunidad para invitar a la población de Pau a visitar Oliva, conocer nuestra gastronomía, cultura, costumbres, así como nuestra gente y nuestro entorno
• Mireia Morera, concejal de Turismo del Ayuntamiento de Oliva ha agradecido al Choeur du Sobestre la oportunidad de promocionar nuestra ciudad en tierras francesas

Oliva a 11 de octubre de 2018.- La Asociación Musical Santa Cecilia de Oliva ha viajado a Pau (Francia) para actuar el próximo 12 de octubre en la Iglesia de Thèze invitada por le Choeur du Soubestre, asociación que visitó el año pasado nuestra ciudad y que ofreció un concierto en la iglesia de Sant Francesc en septiembre de 2017.

 

La relación entre las dos asociaciones nace de la pasión por Oliva y por la música de Christiane Darthez, una ciudadana francesa y miembro de la agrupación de Soubestre que visita nuestra localidad todos los años desde hace más de 20 años y es una excelente conocedora de nuestra tierra.

 

Este viaje de intercambio nace como una visita cultural pero también, como una oportunidad para promocionar la gastronomía, cultura, costumbres y entorno de Oliva. De hecho, la delegación de Turismo ha hecho entrega al presidente de la Asociación Santa Cecilia, Vicente Salort, de diferentes productos promocionales de Oliva Turismo como guías turísticas y videos promocionales para que los integrantes de la Coral se conviertan en embajadores de nuestra ciudad en tierras francesas.

 

En este sentido, el presidente de la Asociación Musical Santa Cecilia, Vicente Salort se ha mostrado muy satisfecho por poder visitar y actuar en Pau, así como, por poder representar a Oliva en tierras francesas, “queremos enseñar a los vecinos de Pau nuestra tierra e invitarles a que vengan a Oliva y a disfrutar de todo lo que les podemos ofrecer”.
