Gandia 18 maig 2018.- El regidor delegat de Cultura, Joan Muñoz, acompanyat pel responsable de Biblioteques, Toni Ordiñana han presentat aquest matí l’ampliació horària del servei de la Biblioteca Central de Gandia en època d’exàmens i el nou programa d’ajuda als alumnes que es vagen a presentar a l’examen per obtenir el Nivell C1 de valencià. Segons ha Informat Joan Muñoz «el servei s’ampliarà començant el dia 19 de maig fins al 4 de juliol i es farà a la Biblioteca Central i de dilluns a diumenge». La biblioteca central romandrà oberta des de les 9 del matí i fins a les 00:00 de la nit, «Facilitem als joves que estan d’exàmens que puguen disposar d’un espai adequat per estudiar».
Toni Ordiñana va explicar que «s’ha volgut centrar la campanya d’ampliació horària en l’època en la que afecta més a la gent, també als estudiants que han de fer el selectiu i als estudiants de les universitats tant de la Politècnica com la de València». La biblioteca estarà oberta 15 hores diàries de manera ininterrompuda i durant 47 dies seguits. Un horari ampli que intenta donar resposta a estudiants de totes les edats. Així i tot, recorda Ordiñana que «el Servei s’amplia per donar suport a estudiants, no per fer préstec habitual o devolucions». Encara que sí que es manté el servei de wifi per facilitar la tasca dels estudiants. Fora d’aquests dies d’horari especial, el regidor de Cultura ha recordat que «la biblioteca està oberta de 09 del matí a 21 de la nit, per tant, són 11 hores diàries de servei al públic que també són importants».
Pel que fa al nou servei d’assessorament per als exàmens de C1 de valencià, els dies 4 i 8 de juny seran les jornades de preparació d’expressió, comprensió escrita i estructures lingüístiques, per a l’examen del 9 de juny. I els dies 26 i 28 de juny, es prepararà l’expressió i comprensió oral per a l’examen del 30 de juny. El servei serà gratuït, prèvia inscripció, en el cas que s’apunte més gent que places, es procedirà a fer un sorteig. El lloc serà a la Sala d’Actes de la biblioteca central de 17 a 19 hores.
